陰蒂切除術，指切除陰蒂的手術。在目前，陰蒂切除術極少用于臨床。常見的陰蒂切除通常發生在非洲地區的女性割禮上。

歷史
在歷史上，陰蒂切除術曾用于抑制女性自慰。[1]19世紀歐美的婦科醫生曾將切除陰蒂作為治療精神病與自慰的手段。[2]西方首例報道的陰蒂切除術發生于1822年的柏林，一個十幾歲的女孩因為頻繁自慰被認為“低能”，陰蒂被切除。 [3]
